Greg James is one lucky bugger after managing to make it on-stage at Wembley before Coldplay themselves. The Paradise hitmakers – featuring Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion – have been entertaining thousands of fans at London’s Wembley Stadium on a six-night run as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour.
It’s been a cracking residency so far with the likes of Craig David, Natalie Imbruglia and even Alan Partridge joining the rock band as surprise guests during the shows.
They may have saved the best until last with BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg appearing during Coldplay’s final night at Wembley on Sunday.
Concert-goers shared photos on social media of Greg, 36, doing the honours of introducing Coldplay to the stage and, needless to say, his fans were loving his surprise cameo. ‘@gregjames you’ve won in this life,’ one fan cheered on Twitter.
