Fans believe a feud could be brewing at the Radio 1 station after radio DJ Greg James took a dig at his former colleague, Jordan North.

34-year-old Jordan - who hosts the drivetime show on the station alongside Vick Hope - stunned fans when he announced he was exiting the show to join Capital FM reports the Mirror. The news comes as Roman Kemp also announced earlier this week that he'll be giving up his Breakfast slot on the station.

Jordan announced how happy he was to have bagged the impressive gig on Instagram, Greg - who has been at Radio 1 since 2007, commented: "Enjoy the money Jane."Jordan, who has worked at Radio 1 for 10 years is said to have signed a big money deal to join Global after quitting the BBC station. With talks of his former colleague scoring mega-money, Greg made it clear he would still be DJing on Radio 1, and in another dig, posted a snap of earplugs, penning: "Renewed my breakfast show contract so bought myself a little something to celebrate.”On Wednesday, Jordan appeared on Capital for the first time to confirm he is taking over from Roman. The broadcaster, who was reportedly axed from BBC Radio 1 without the chance to say goodbye, was live on air on Wednesday morning where the son of Spandau Ballet star, Martin Kemp, introduced his successor to the Capital Breakfast audience, saying: “You are going to absolutely love this Jordan.

I have so much faith in you mate. It’s hard leaving, it feels like your child, but you want it to go into good hands and I know with you it’s going to be just that.
