Manchester United got back to winning ways in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime with a 2-0 win over Everton.
First half penalties from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford sealed a hard-fought victory for Erik ten Hag's side, moving them back to within eight points of fourth place.
United came through an early Everton storm and got their noses in front after just 12 minutes via Fernandes' first Premier League goal of 2024.
Rashford was then handed the chance to double United's advantage just over 20 minutes later and he duly obliged, putting a low effort past England teammate Jordan Pickford.
