EAGLE-EYED Countdown fans picked up on an apparent blunder from co-presenter Rachel Riley. The Channel 4 competition show features various number and word tests, where its contestants show their ability.
During Tuesday's (December 6) episode, Rachel pulled out a series of letters for the celebrity contestants to create a word with.
At the end of the round, she displayed a word she had created, which was 'antedote'. Many of the show's loyal fans instantly flagged that she had "spelt it wrong!" Surely not a word. "Just tried searching for it and only found a firm with that name." Another fan pointed out something that had annoyed them about the number round.
