David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

Murphy was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984. He has worked as a stand-up comedian and was ranked No. 10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.

In films, Murphy has received Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances in 48 Hrs., the Beverly Hills Cop series, Trading Places, The Nutty Professor, and Dolemite Is My Name. In 2007, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of soul singer James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls.

EXCLUSIVE: In what is a big departure from R&CPMK, the firm’s Co-Presidents of Talent, Lindsay Galin and Jeff Raymond, have exited to start their own talent-driven public relations company, 2pm Sharp.

The duo, as I hear, departed R&CPMK two days ago. 2pm Sharp will have offices in Los Angeles, New York and London. We’re hearing that upwards of ten publicists from R&CPMK are following Galin and Raymond.

It’s all being sorted out which clients stay behind with R&CPMK or leave to go with 2pm Sharp. New York-based Galin is known for repping such heavyweights as Michael B.

Jordan, Henry Cavill and Oscar winner Brie Larson. Raymond’s forte is in the music space with such headliners as Grammy winner Britney Spears and The Jonas Brothers, as well as sports with David Beckham.
