The Queen ’s annual birthday party could be cancelled for the first time in 65 years due to the coronavirus outbreak. Her Majesty is set to mark her 94th birthday on Saturday, June 13 in a big public bash outside Buckingham Palace – called Trooping the Colour.
The Queen has two birthdays every year – her actual birthday on April 21, and official one in June that is marked with a public celebration.
The event sees hundreds of thousands of people flood The Mall in central London to watch a parade of pomp and ceremony mark Her Maj’s birthday.
Only this time the traditional summer spectacle could be axed for the first time in decades, as it coincides with the peak of the deadly coronavirus.
