Queen Camilla has stepped in for King Charles at a major event as the monarch continues his cancer treatment. She will be handing out the traditional Royal Maundy Money on behalf of her husband during the pre-Easter service at Worcester Cathedral.This is thought to be the first time a monarch's spouse has been given this responsibility.
While not at Worcester Cathedral for the Royal Maundy Service because of his cancer treatment, King Charles' words were played.The monarch shared a heartfelt message about his promise to serve with "my whole heart" as Easter approaches.
He didn't talk directly about his and the Princess of Wales' treatment for undisclosed types of cancer, but he mentioned the kindness of people who "extend the hand of friendship".
At this important Royal event, special coins called Maundy money are given out by the King to thank people who help others a lot.
