Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watched his daughter, Karna, help United's Women's Under-21s win the 2022 Women's Super League Academy Cup final on Wednesday evening against Birmingham City.
The United youngsters beat the Blues 4-1 at St George's Park thanks to goals from Alyssa Aherne (2), Rebecca May and Keira Barry.
That put the Reds 4-0 up before Birmingham got a goal back in stoppage time to deny them a clean sheet. However, it was not enough to deny United's Women's Under-21s, who had beaten Liverpool, Chelsea and most recently Aston Villa on route to the final, the trophy.
And it was a proud night for Solskjaer, who attended the contest to watch his daughter play, and lift the cup.
