Manchester United supporters have been airing their bemusement over Jadon Sancho's omission from the latest England squad after an interesting statistics comparison between the winger and Jack Grealish was highlighted.
Like teammate Marcus Rashford, the 21-year-old was left out of Gareth Southgate’s selection for next week’s friendlies against the Ivory Coast and Switzerland.
Many were surprised by the decision to leave out Sancho, who has seen an uptick in form for his club side. In his last seven Premier League games, he has bagged three assists and scored twice, including a Manchester derby equaliser.
Meanwhile, Manchester City playmaker Grealish - who is included in the Three Lions squad - has bagged just two goals and two assists in 19 league games all season.
