Pro-Palestine activists climb on top of vehicles to block entry at Scots weapons factory

Pro-Palestine campaigners have returned to a factory in Edinburgh for a protest against shipments of arms being sent to Israel.The mob gathered at the factory owned by Italian weapon manufacturer, Leonardo UK, at the city's Crewe Road on Tuesday, December 10, and blocked entry to the site.A number of activists secured themselves to each other on top of vehicles, closing both entry gates to the plant in an effort to halt the manufacturing of parts for Israel's F-35 Fighter Jets.The group has targeted struck the plant on numerous occasions since October 2023, including through occupations, blockades, and acts of sabotage.A spokesperson for Palestine Action said: “While the British and Scottish governments continue to support the Israeli war industry, Palestine Action refuse to permit complicity.
