Angelique Jackson Priyanka Chopra Jonas‘ Purple Pebble Pictures has added veteran producer Anne Carey as president of film and TV.

In 2020, Variety exclusively announced that Purple Pebble Pictures, which has been behind projects including the Academy Award-nominated films “The White Tiger” and “To Kill a Tiger,” inked a first look TV deal with Amazon MGM Studios.

The pact has since been extended and expanded to include both film and television. The company aims to expand its reach and creative output under the leadership of Carey, who has built a strong resume as an independent film and television producer with a long history of development-oriented producing, working frequently from literary material and collaborating with award-winning filmmakers. “Anne is a force in the industry, known for her exceptional ability to craft stories that not only captivate but also connect with audiences on a profound level,” said Chopra Jonas in a statement. “Her dedication to storytelling and her unwavering support for unique and diverse voices perfectly reflect our mission at Purple Pebble Pictures.
