Content Aggregator Airtime Launching in Thailand (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comPatrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Absolute NT has been appointed to distribute cloud-based content aggregator Airtime in Thailand.
By working alongside smart TV manufacturers including Sony, Samsung, LG and Philips, the Airtime service facilitates in-room premium entertainment to hotels, hospitality and healthcare companies without hardware or PMS licenses.
It accesses content from Hollywood studios including Paramount, Disney, Fox, Marvel, Dreamworks and Universal Studios, as well as news providers NHK-World, Bloomberg and Euronews.
Airtime was launched in the U.K. in 2016 by Techlive International, and is now available in more than 30 countries “Airtime provides the finest award-winning content to its customers, often available while titles are still in their theatrical runs, including eight of the last year’s top ten box office earners.
