A prison officer had 'phone sex' with a serving inmate and even met his mother, a jury was told. Ruth Shmylo allegedly began the 'inappropriate relationship' with the inmate while she was working as a prison officer and he was a prisoner at HMP Parc in Bridgend, Wales Online reports.
The inmate then moved to HMP Manchester, and conversations between him and Shmylo, 26, were recorded by the prison authorities.
The pair had phone sex after the inmate allegedly slid Shmylo his number on a piece of paper, a court was told. During the calls, the inmate asked the defendant to tell him she loved him, which she refused to do, and told her he 'missed her face'.
