Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince William "doesn't understand" why Prince Harry wants an apology from his family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to the US to pursue a life away from the royal family.

In a bid to start their new life, the couple embarked on a series of new projects striking deals with Netflix, Spotify and Penguin Random House.

The couple sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, and in December 2022 they released a Netflix documentary titled Harry & Meghan, where they included details about their lives as working royals.

In January 2023, Harry released his memoir Spare where he recalled a physical fight between himself and William. Harry also alleged Kate Middleton and William encouraged his infamous Nazi costume incident, as well as referring to Queen Camilla as "the other woman" and claimed she leaked stories about him to the press.
