Prince William is reportedly concerned about the whereabouts of his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales' jewels, which were passed on to Meghan Markle. The Duchess was given an engagement ring by Prince Harry, now 39, back in 2017, featuring two diamonds from Diana's personal collection.
At the time, Harry revealed that the two diamonds flanked a central stone from Botswana, all set on a classic gold band. However, it's believed that Meghan had the ring subtly redesigned less than two years later, opting for a slimmer band as part of its "update".The Duchess first flaunted the revamped ring at the Trooping the Colour event in 2019, alongside another stunning ring.
This year, Meghan has attended several events sans the iconic ring, including a glitzy gala in May, where it was said to be "being fixed", reports the Express.
Even more telling was her choice to leave the ring behind during the Invictus Games, despite being there with Harry. Insiders speaking to New Idea magazine have suggested that Prince William is allegedly uneasy about the fate of his mother's precious stones.
