Prince Harry will be travelling back to the UK in just a number of weeks after his rush back home to visit his sick father King Charles following the news of his cancer diagnosis.The Duke of Sussex raced back to London last week for a whirlwind 25 hour trip after learning that the monarch had fallen ill.
However, his upcoming return back to England will not be to see the King again but to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games instead, the Mirror reports.The duke reportedly only met with His Majesty for a mere 12 minutes last week as he was clearly eager to get back home to his wife Meghan Markle and their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in California, the Mirror reports.However, his visit for the Invictus Games anniversary will perhaps present him with another promising opportunity to patch up his relationship with the Royal Family during this difficult period for the Firm.Prince Harry is tipped to travel back in May for the 10th birthday of the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014, with celebrations due to take place at St Paul’s Cathedral.The news comes after the UK government announced a multi-million pound bid to see the games hosted in Birmingham in 2027.Johnny Mercer, the minister for veterans’ affairs and leading the bid, said: "It feels like a natural rounding of the circle to come back to the UK and we’re going to do everything we can to win the bid."Another insider close to the project claimed that a British-based Invictus Games would have the approval of both Harry and the rest of the Royal Family.Speaking to The Express, they said: "Harry has indicated that he is comfortable coming back for a British-based Invictus Games and we understand that the Games have always had the support
