Queen Elizabeth was left puzzled by Prince Harry’s outbursts and thought he and Meghan Markle were “quite mad”, a new book has claimed.
The late monarch also believed the Duke of Sussex was "so consumed" by his love for his wife that it “clouded his judgement”, royal correspondent Robert Jobson wrote in his book Our King.
Robert added that the Queen had become tired of the volatile exchanges between Harry and brother Prince William. And when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began to publicly criticise the monarchy, the Queen was mystified by their behaviour - calling it 'quite mad'.
An extract of the book, serialised by the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, reads: "In truth, by the time his grandmother died, Harry had precious few supporters left in the family.
