Prince Harry attended his father's Coronation solo on Saturday, but left Westminster Abbey soon after the service had ended to fly back home to California. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were both invited to the King's Coronation on Saturday 6 May, however Meghan stayed at home in Montecito with their two children, Archie - whose fourth birthday fell on the same day - and daughter, one year old Lillibet.
Riding solo, Harry, 38, walked into Westminster Abbey alongside his cousins Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and their husbands.
As he walked in, he nodded to guests and endured a lonely walk down the aisle to his seat in Westminster Abbey's third row. During the service, Harry sat next to Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, who he is reportedly close with. The pair were seen smiling and chatting together while waiting for King Charles and Camilla to arrive.
Harry wasted no time in leaving his father's coronation and immediately after the ceremony was picked up by a black vehicle from outside Westminster Abbey. The same car was then seen escorted out of the city by a police motorcade heading straight to Heathrow Airport.
