According to Samantha Markle's lawyer, Prince Harry should have been known as the "Duke of Wails", as he refers to Meghan Markle's half sister's latest case filings.
The Duke of Sussex has been mistaken for the Prince of Wales in a court filing by Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle's sister, reports have claimed.
Samantha is suing her half sister for libel over comments made during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix documentary series 'Harry & Meghan', that was released in 2022, reports the Express.
Although the case lost at the Federal Court in Florida, it has now gone to the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Peter Ticktin, of the Ticktin Law Group, told Newsweek: "To most of us, Americans, we couldn't give a tinker's damn as to whether that prince is the Duke of Wales, the Duke of Sussex, or the Duke of Earl."In fact, I wish I could say it was simply a spelling mistake when he should have been the Duke of Wails."Meghan was sued over comments she made in a tell all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, as well as on the Netflix documentary ‘Harry & Meghan’ in 2022, with her sister Samantha accusing her of claiming “false and malicious lies” about her fairytale “rags-to-royalty” up brining, as well as contesting her claim that she “grew up as an only child".
