The volume includes an account of a physical confrontation which Harry blamed on his older sibling, the Mirror reports. After their altercation, Harry claims that William said: "You don't need to tell Meg about this."Harry retorted: "'You mean that you attacked me? ", to which William responded, "I didn't attack you, Harold".However Meghan was not the first person Harry turned so as he revealed in Spare that he instead reached out to his therapist for assistance in navigating his emotions.

Meghan eventually noticed the "scrapes and bruises", leading Harry to the disclosure of the conflict.
