Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry left fans gobsmacked as he made a surprise appearance at the 2024 NFL Honours ceremony in Las Vegas following his brief visit back to the UK to see his father King Charles.The Duke of Sussex landed in London on Tuesday afternoon after the news of the monarch's cancer diagnosis broke before he rushed back to America again just 25 hours later.Yesterday evening, the 39-year-old prince presented the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award at the National Football League ceremony in Vegas.Harry appeared at ease as he took to the stage, making plenty of jokes in speech but failing to mention his sick father, the Mirror reports.Instead, he seemed to poke fun at the UK as he joked: "Really love how you stole rugby from us" before going on to discuss the minor differences between American football and rugby.He then welcomed Pittsburgh Steelers football player Cameron Heyward onto the stage to receive the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Harry said: "All you guys do on and off the field is truly remarkable. You are role models for millions in the way you carry yourselves and in the way you give back."Cameron seemed to be starstruck by the duke's presence as he jokingly said: "Man, Prince freaking Harry.

Man, I'm in shock. That's Prince Harry." He added: "I want to say thank you to the Pittsburgh Steelers for giving me this opportunity."Mike T (Tomlin), it’s an honour to be coached by you.

I couldn't play for any other coach. To my teammates, I'm thankful to be your teammate." The Walter Payton Man of the Year award is an annual award presented by the NFL honouring a player's commitment to philanthropy, community impact and his greatness on the field.
