Prince Harry has been branded as "out of touch" by a royal expert who claims he and Meghan Markle thought Frogmore Cottage "would always be there for them".The couple were given the property as a wedding present from the late Queen.

However, King Charles evicted Meghan and Harry last March after they stepped away from the Royal Family. Now Royal author Tom Quinn believes the Duke of Sussex would have been hurt by the decision.

According to Tom, Harry, who emigrated to the US after stepping down from his royal duties, was left "absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore." The Royal expert doesn’t believe that the Duke of Sussex would have assumed that choosing to “stop being a working royal” would see him removed from Frogmore, with Harry likely to have taken it as a “cruel rejection.” OK!

contacted the palace for comment. Speaking to The Mirror, he explained: "Harry and Meghan imagined Frogmore would always be there for them even if they came back to the UK for just a few weeks each year and even if they were no longer working royals. "That assumption speaks volumes about just how out of touch with each other King Charles and his son had become." Harry recently changed his residential status from the UK to the US, in a move separating him even more from his previous life in Great Britain. The change in status was backdated to June 29, 2023 - the date Harry and Meghan officially left Frogmore Cottage.Tom claims the date is significant to Harry as it shows he was deeply affected by the King's decision to evict the pair.
