Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'lose friends' who 'side with Prince William'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's friendship circles have apparently continue to shrink, after pals were told to "choose sides".

Speaking on Vanity Fair's podcast, DYNASTY: The Royal Family's Most Challenging Year, royal expert Katie Nicholl suggested that those close to of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are feeling compelled to "choose" between them and Prince William.

Katie remarked: "I think there is a sense that, possibly, friends, close friends, society friends, celebrity friends have sort of had to make a little bit of a choice.

I remember being told by someone at the Palace there was this sense that you had to put your stake in one camp or the other." She pointed out how Harry was absent at the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, to Olivia Henson while William attended.
