Kate Middleton and Prince William ’s kids have their own pets - and they really do have funky names. In 2016 The Duchess of Cambridge announced that Princess Charlotte owns a hamster that goes by the name of Marvin.

It is thought that Lupo was named after Kate’s great-grandmother, Olive Christiana Lupton, whose family crest had wolves on it.
Lupo also had an integral role in helping choose Prince George’s name. The Times claims that Will and Kate put all potential names on paper and threw them on the floor at home.
