Prince Charles has reportedly been making impromptu visits to see The Queen as she continues to battle mobility issues. The 73 year old's regular drop ins to his mother, who recently congratulated Ukraine as it celebrated its 31st anniversary of independence, are believed to be a sign of his growing concern as the unplanned visits are "highly unusual", a royal expert has claimed.

Ingrid Seward, of Majesty Magazine, told The Sun: “It’s highly unusual for Prince Charles to make these kinds of impromptu visits to see his mother. “But Charles is a very thoughtful person — and who else can she rely on now Prince Philip has gone?

Everyone thinks they normally see each other all the time, but they don’t." “They often blame it on the geography because everyone is scattered all around the country," she added.

The monarch has been suffering with her mobility for some time as she's regularly been seen out using a walking stick and even missed the State Opening of Parliament as a result of her difficulties.
