Primary children feel 'unsafe' sharing toilets with secondary pupils at overcrowded Kilmarnock school

Kilmarnock’s Annanhill primary as the Grange campus is overcrowded.It comes as primary children are being taught in four Grange Academy classrooms and feel 'unsafe' sharing toilets.The overall Grange campus has exceeded capacity by 93 pupils.

Modular classrooms may have to be erected to cope with numbers.A council report laying out concerns warned: “corridors and stairwells are overcrowded, congested and at times present a challenge to the safety and wellbeing of our children and young people.”It added: “Access to toilets and hand-washing facilities presents a significant challenge to children and young people.
