Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

President Joe Biden to Appear in Betty White Tribute Special; Apple TV Plus Announces ‘Pachinko’ Premiere Date (TV News Roundup)

Wilson Chapman editorPresident Joe Biden will be one of many guests for the upcoming primetime special “Celebrating Betty White: America’s Golden Girl,” NBC announced Thursday.The special, a tribute to the iconic comedic actress Betty White, will feature a taped tribute from Biden commemorating the late White, who passed away last December.

NBC also announced several other stars who will appear in the special, including: Drew Barrymore, Valerie Bertinelli, Cher, Bryan Cranston, Ted Danson, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Goldie Hawn, Vicki Lawrence, Jane Leeves, Jay Leno, Anthony Mackie, Wendie Malick, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, Jean Smart and Mary Steenburgen.

Other special guests have yet to be announced. The special will feature co-stars, friends and admirers of White recounting their favorite memories of the late star.

The telecast is also slated to include never-before-seen footage of White. The special comes from Brad Lachman Productions. Brad Lachman and Bill Bracken executive produce, and Matt Lachman produces.A pioneer of early television with a career spanning eight decades, White was best known for her roles in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “The Golden Girls” and “Hot in Cleveland.” Over the course of her career, she received eight Emmy Awards, three American Comedy Awards, three Screen Actor Guild Awards and a Grammy Award.
