President Joe Biden is speaking out about his son’s conviction. The 81-year-old President of the United States’ 54-year-old son Hunter Biden was found guilty on three felony counts related to a gun purchase in 2018.

Following Hunter‘s guilty verdict in Wilmington, Del., on Tuesday (June 11) the President shared a statement and whether he had plans to overturn it or fight it. Hunter, who faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000, also spoke out about his conviction. “I am more grateful for the love and support I experienced this last week from Melissa, my family, my friends and my community than I am disappointed by the outcome.

Recovery is possible by the grace of God, and I am blessed to experience that gift one day at a time,” he said. Hunter‘s three felony charges include accusations he “lied on federal paperwork by saying that he was not using or addicted to drugs when he acquired the firearm.
