New details are rolling in regarding President-Elect Joe Biden‘s inauguration ceremony in 2021. The President-Elect and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris are preparing for a ceremony amid the pandemic on January 20, which means protocol is still being discussed, although more details have been revealed, via TMZ on Tuesday (December 8).
According to a representative from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, the event will be held in-person. “We’re told the JCCIC is going to require masks and social distancing for everyone sitting on the dais with Biden — which you’d expect — but the Committee is also considering imposing mandatory testing for anyone who will be in the Prez-elect’s immediate vicinity,” the outlet adds.
