Joe Biden is going to pay his respects. The 79-year-old President of the United States confirmed that he will attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, following her sad death on Thursday (September 8). “Yes,” Biden confirmed to reporters Friday (September 9) when asked whether he planned to attend the funeral, via CNN. He also told reporters he has not yet spoken to King Charles III following the Queen’s death. “I know him. I haven’t spoken to him.

I did not call him yet,” Biden confirmed. Details are still emerging about Queen Elizabeth‘s funeral.

Her final resting place has been revealed. King Charles spoke out about the Queen in his first address to the nation.
