The Premier League captains video call discussing football's response to ongoing coronavirus pandemic was said to be "feisty and chaotic", with around 70 people reportedly on the conference.
The meeting took place on Saturday and no agreement has been reached over players taking a wage cut, as had been suggested by Health Secretary Matt Hancock.
A resulting statement from the PFA actually hit back at Hancock, saying: "The players are mindful that as PAYE employees, the combined tax on their salaries is a significant contribution to funding essential public services - which are especially critical at this time. "Taking a 30 per cent salary deduction will cost the Exchequer substantial sums.
