Pregnant Lindsay Lohan cradles baby bump saying she’s been ‘crying happy tears’

Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan has shared a heartfelt and intimate look at her pregnancy journey as she admitted she had been left “crying happy tears” following the exciting news that she will soon be a first time mum.

The 36 year old star is currently expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas, and announced the news of her pregnancy back in March, as she took to Instagram to reveal a white baby go, alongside the words “Coming Soon…” Since then, Lindsay has been excitedly preparing for impending motherhood, but recently took part in an interview with Allure magazine to share the inside scoop on her pregnancy.

Speaking to the publication, Lindsay said: “I can't wait to see what the feeling is and what it's like to just be a mom.” She then revealed she had always felt maternal, but admitted she had been crying a lot more lately as she adjusted to a wave of new emotions in the wake of her pregnancy.

Moved to tears by things as simple as a baby shower, or a kind gesture, Lindsay added: “Happy tears.That's just who I am.Though now, it’s probably baby emotion.” Describing the experience as “overwhelming,” the star soon elaborated: “in a good way.” Alongside the interview, Lindsay also posed for a photoshoot, with the former Mean Girls star seen cradling her blossoming baby bump in a variety of outfits, including a statement black hooded gown with heavy embellishment across the sleeves and torso.The grown up look was a far cry from her childhood beginnings, with the actress first having shot to fame back in 1998 when she took on the lead role in Disney’s The Parent Trap remake.
