Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Popular Zippo's travelling circus coming to Falkirk later this month

A popular travelling circus is coming to Falkirk at the end of this month. The family friendly Zippo’s Circus will be hosted at Falkirk Community Stadium grounds from June 22 to 26, with a brand new show titled 'Bon Voyage'.

The show will open each night at 5pm during the week and from 12pm on the weekend. The community stadium can be accessed via Falkirk Grahamston train station or by buses numbered 2, 3, 4, 28 and F14.

Free street car parking is also available nearby.The prices range from £13 to £23 but children aged under two go free providing they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.The show features legendary motorbike stunts, rocket-propelled acrobats and much more.A spokesperson for Zippos explained more about this year's show: "Scotland's Favourite Circus features multi-talented Brazilian showman, comic, acrobat and aerialist Paulo Dos Santos, who stands at just over a metre tall.

Charismatic Paulo has been with Zippos Circus for several years and is beloved by audiences young and old."The colourful line-up includes the legendary motorbike Globe of Death from the Brazilian Lucius Team; fast juggling and whip cracking from Czech Republic star Toni; contortion from Mongolia; rocket-propelled aerial skills with the Garcia Duo from Ireland; teeterboard thrills from Cuba; comedy from the UK starring Whimmie; bouncing trampoline capers from Havana with Poli; sensational tumblers from Kenya; and daredevils Brian and Matias from Argentina in a death-defying Wheel of Steel." Advance booking is strongly recommended.
