One of Chorlton's most legendary spots is set to give away free Frankfurter sausages this week. The first 100 people through the door at Electrik will be able to claim their Wurst to celebrate the bar's new food collaboration with a German food vendor.
Renowned for their legendary ‘One Deck’ DJ nights and laid-back suburban atmosphere, Electrik is beloved amongst Chorlton locals and visitors.
The neighbourhood favourite will be teaming up with their latest food vendor Tisch Un Teller to serve up classic German food 'inspired by the street food and food halls of today's Berlin'. READ MORE: Billie Eilish announces FOUR dates in Manchester on huge world tour The team will be serving up classics like curry wurst and Spaghetti Eis, but say they are as much inspired by Berlin's Turkish kebab shops as they are the city's more traditional fare.
Diners can expect Wurst, Schnitzel, Doner, Pretzel - all washed down with some German beer. "The Tish und Teller (table and plate in German) food takes its cue from the Street food and food halls of today's Berlin," the team behind the concept said. "We're as much inspired by the Turkish kebab shops as classic German fare, that we know goes well with beer.” To get your hands on a free sausage, you can attend Electrik’s launch party from 6pm on Thursday, May 2, and purchase a drink.
