Last night (June 26), St. Louis rapper, Huey, was reportedly shot and killed in the front yard of a home. He was 32. Best known for his famous 2006 single "Pop, Lock and Drop It," Huey, born Lawrence Franks Jr., was killed in the Kinloch section of St.
Louis Thursday night in a double shooting, according to reports from the local St. Louis Post-Dispatch and TMZ. The shooting reportedly occurred shortly before 11 p.m.
Franks Jr. was shot once and died from a gunshot wound after arriving at the hospital. The second victim, a 21-year-old man, went straight to the Ferguson Police Department after being shot.
