8. To help promote Yorgos Lanthimos’s highly anticipated film, Searchlight Pictures has teamed up with several retailers and brands across New York and L.A to release limited-edition products inspired by specific scenes.
Pieces include Selima Optique’s “Bella” Sunglasses as a nod to Emma Stone’s character, Pat McGrath makeup used by the production’s makeup artist Nadia Stacey, and special-edition “Poor Things” sardines by The Fantastic World of Portuguese Sardines.
The film is a story of “love, discovery and scientific daring” set in the Victorian era, based on an adaptation of Alasdair Grey’s novel of the same name.
