Five ambulances were sent out following the incident at the Windsor Hotel pub in Llantrisant Road, Pontyclun, on Thursday evening, reports Wales Online.

The driver of the car - a 79-year-old local man - is believed to have suffered a medical episode before the crash, police said.

One person has suffered life-changing injuries and the driver is in a critical condition. The other four have also been taken to hospital as a precaution, suffering from what are described as minor injuries. Did you witness this incident?
