Police who slapped an innocent delivery driver with a recorded warning after he was booted on the head during an alleged road rage attack in Lanarkshire have been ordered to reinvestigate the crime.James McGoldrick lodged an official complaint with Police Scotland over the way he was treated after he called officers for help in November 2021.

The 60-year-old had been delivering pizza to a property in East Kilbride when he was reportedly followed by a man who had earlier cut him off on a nearby road.
