Police have issued CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after an 'unprovoked' hammer attack outside a bar last month. Cheshire constabulary are investigating the assault, which happened outside a licensed premises in Lymm in the early hours of July 24.
The incident saw the unknown suspect approach a man before attempting to strike him over the head with a hammer. The victim only sustained minor cuts in the attack.
The victim had been stood outside a licensed premises at the junction of Rectory Lane and Pepper Street at around 12am when the attack to place.
