Twelve people have been arrested after police raided houses across Manchester in the early hours. Officers smashed through the doors of 17 properties in the north, south and centre of Manchester this morning (September 2), as part of a dedicated day of action to target criminals linked to the supply of drugs across the region.
The warrants were carried out simultaneously in areas including Wythenshawe, Whalley Range, Gorton, Longsight and Moss Side.
It saw nine men and three women, aged between 19 and 56, arrested on suspicion of offences including possession with intent to supply and burglary.
All remain in custody for questioning.
