Paul Scholes has predicted that Cristiano Ronaldo will work his way back into the Manchester United starting XI for Premier League matches soon.

Ronaldo started his second game in a row for Erik ten Hag following injury to Marcus Rashford. The 37-year-old repaid his manager's faith in him by scoring his first of the campaign from the penalty spot.

After Diogo Dalot was fouled in the box, Ronaldo confidently stepped up to score his first goal of the season. "He’s a Champions League player, of course he is.
