Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes put another smile on the face of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland after he netted a hat-trick to help the Blues beat their cross-city rivals 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Norway international continued his outstanding start to life in England, scoring three goals to increase his tally for the season in all competitions to 17.
Like team-mate Phil Foden, he scored twice in the first half, ensuring the Blues were 4-0 up at half time, before completing his hat-trick after the break.
It was another sensational performance from the 22-year-old, who also added two assists to his tally of direct goal involvements.
