Police shut off road and and search house after reports of gunshots fired in Salford

manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice have sealed off a residential street in Salford following reports of gunshots being fired. Officers were called to Broughton Lane in Lower Broughton after receiving reports of a firearms discharge.
GMP believe that the incident happened on Monday night (June 1), but the report was made to them on Tuesday afternoon. No arrests have been yet been made. A police cordon is in place and Broughton Lane is sealed off this evening while officers search a property.
