Police search Stockport flats in connection with Ashley Walsh murder investigation
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice have confirmed that a search taking place at a block of residential flats is connected to the investigation into the alleged murder of 34-year-old Ashley Walsh.
Ashley Walsh, from Failsworth, went missing from North Manchester on January 7 before tragically being found found in a wooded area of Sandhills Park in Collyhurst, with police seen searching the woods on Monday (January 17).
The Manchester Evening News also understands that searches have been taking place at a flat in Stonemill Terrace, Lancashire Hill, Stockport, this week linked to this investigation.
Tactical Aid Unit officers were seen coming to and leaving the block this morning while a Crime Scene Investigation van remains in place.
