A post mortem carried out on the body of a Bury woman at the centre of a murder inquiry was inconclusive. The woman who died has been named as Charrissa Brown.
The 36-year-old tragically died after being rushed to hospital from a property on Gorse Bank in Bury on Wednesday night. Police launched an investigation and arrested three men - aged 32, 52, and 61 - on suspicion of murder and rape.
In an update Greater Manchester Police said: "A post mortem was inconclusive, three people are still in custody, and further investigations ongoing." The men were arrested at properties on Gorse Bank and Rutland Drive, Bury.
Touching tributes to Charrissa have now been paid as the probe continues. Charrissa's mum Sue Brown said: 'RIP my beautiful daughter'.
