Police Reveal Details on Liam Payne's Death, Reports Surface About His Final Moments

The former One Direction singer died at the young age of 31 on Wednesday (October 16) after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Argentina. Keep reading to find out more… Alberto Crescenti, the director of SAME, Buenos Aires Emergency Medical Services, said, “At 5:04 p.m., through 911 and the integrated public security system, we were alerted about a person in the internal courtyard of the CasaSur hotel.” He continued, “At 5:11, a SAME team arrived and confirmed the man’s death.
We later learned that he was a singer in a musical group. Unfortunately, he had injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death.
There was no possibility of resuscitation.” Authorities believe that Liam suffered a “skull base fracture,” though a cause of death will not be confirmed until an autopsy is performed.
