Police Return to Drake’s Home for Third Time This Week Following Trespasser Incident

Horowitz Senior Music Writer After a security guard was shot at Drake’s Toronto residence earlier this week and an intruder was arrested the next day, police returned to the rapper’s home on Thursday afternoon (May 9) after a trespasser got into an “altercation” with security guards.
This marks the third incident involving police at Drake’s home this week. Early on Tuesday morning, a security guard was shot in a drive-by incident and was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
A day later, an intruder was arrested for attempting to break into the home, and was apprehended by police under the Ontario Mental Health Act.
Unlike the intruder event on Wednesday, yesterday’s trespasser was not arrested under the Mental Health Act, which conceals someone’s identity under the law.
