Police have released an image of a man they want to trace in connection with a sexual assault that took place almost two years ago in Glasgow city centre.
The incident, which involved an 18-year-old woman, took place on the north side of the River Clyde, near to the Portland Bridge, around 9.45pm on Monday, July 13, 2020.The woman was left uninjured in the incident.Now detectives who have been carrying out enquiries into the sexual assault and have released an image of a man they believe can assist the investigation.He is described as black, between 25-30 years old, of medium build and around 6ft tall.He was wearing a light green/cream Northface branded jacket and black trainers at the time of the incident.Detective Constable Alexander McCullough, of Govan CID, said: “We are asking for anyone who recognises the man in the image, or for the man himself, to please come forward as it could prove vital to our enquiries.“Anyone with any information on the incident should call police on 101, quoting incident 4099 of 13 July, 2020.
