A police officer has won a mansion with a hot-tub for just £2. Alison Bellamy, from Telford, scooped the stunning Shropshire home in a property raffle.

The 49-year-old can kick back in the sizeable dwelling after spending time on the front line of the coronavirus crisis as a West Mercia police officer, the Coventry Telegraph reported.

The house comes with three acres of land, a gym, a hot tub and an sprawling lawn. The stunning six-bedroom farmhouse was put up for raffle by home owners Nigel and Jane Chaloner, who want to raise funds to support the work of Severn Hospice after they were both infected with coronavirus.
