A police officer has been cleared of misconduct over the death of a dad who was beaten then left naked and handcuffed, face down in the back of a van.
Pc A was one of six officers accused of gross misconduct over the arrest and subsequent detention of 30-year-old Andre Moura on the night of 6 July 2018.
Mr Moura, a dad of four who was originally from Portugal, was arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace outside his home on Seventh Avenue in Limeside, Oldham, at around 11.35pm.
He resisted arrest and CS spray was deployed by officers at least twice during efforts to restrain him. A custody nurse found Mr Moura unresponsive and with no pulse on arrival at Ashton police station.
